Mega Bloks - $25.00 in COUPONS
I stumbled up on this deal today and thought I would share. This is a really great deal and with Christmas just around the corner you can save these coupons for those sales that will be coming up...maybe even Black Friday since the coupons don't expire until 11/30/2011.

A big shopping weekend!
There were lots of great sales this weekend and I hope you were able to get in on them. Publix still has a lot of great deals left and Kroger's just started today so it should be a fun week if you have the right coupons.
Here are some of the deals that I got this weekend:
Sunny D - $0.99 (as part of the mega event) I had $0.55 off 1 (x5) coupons so $0.44 per item = GREAT DEAL!!
THIS ONE WAS MY FAVORITE!! Kelloggs put out a $5.00 off 5 coupon last week and I was lucky enough to snag one...this week at Kroger (some) Kelloggs cereals are $1.99 (not part of the mega event). I bought 5 and saved $5.00 so my total for cereal was $0.99 per box!!
This was my favorite PUBLIX deal of the week. These are still on sale BOGO until Tuesday...If you have the 06/26 Coupon inserts you will have a coupon for $1.00 off 1 or you may have printed the coupon off of RedPlum earlier last week for the same value...either coupon will get you $0.59 per box. Mango is my absolute favorite.
Pringles are part of the Kroger mega event and they are $0.85 per can. Coupon for $1.00 off 3
This is an UNADVERTISED deal at PUBLIX that even Southern Savers didn't tell you about...Tetley Tea bags are 2/$3.00 and there are several coupons out there for $0.50 off 1 making this only $0.50 per box ( I grabbed 6 of them.
There were so many more great deals this week at both Publix and Kroger. Here are a few more for you...hopefully you have these coupons:
KROGER
Tide Liquid Detergent (Regular $7.99) on sale for $4.99 (part of the 4 day sale now thru Wednesday at Kroger) - Coupon for $0.50 off 1 **doubles to $1.00** making it only $3.99
Colgate Toothpaste (Regular $2.49) on sale for $0.99 (part of the mega event) coupon for $1.00 off 1 made it FREE
Aquafresh Extreme Clean Toothpaste ($3.09 regular price) This is a closeout deal that is unadvertised (the same toothpaste is also on sale at Publix this week - if you buy 2 & use the $3.00 off 2 coupon {from the Publix green advantage flyer} + (2) $1.00 off 1 manufacturer's coupons you get it for $1.18 for both or $0.59 each)...or you can just go to Kroger and use the$1.00 off 1 coupon and get it for $0.54 each.
On a side note: I also noticed that Kroger has Colgate Sensetive Enamel Protection Toothpaste on CLOSEOUT for $1.40 (UNADVERTISED) if you have the coupons and need it. $0.75 coupon makes it $0.65 each.
PUBLIX
Carolina Pride Smoked Sausage (UNADVERTISED DEAL) BOGO $3.49 ($1.75 EA) Coupon from 06/19 Smart Source has Carolina Pride Smoked Sausage $0.50 off 1 making it $0.75 each.
Viva papertowel single roll - 2 for $3.00 Publix coupon for $1.00 off 2 + manufacturer's coupon for $1.00 off 1
Colgate Wisp 2 for $3.00 - coupon for $0.50 off 1 on colgate website makes them $0.50 each
Lance Cracker Creations (new product) 2 for $4.00 use coupons from coupons.com from early last week makes them $1.00 per box.
Welch's Fruit Snacks - BOGO @ $2.79 (1.39ea) Use coupon from coupons.com for $0.50 off 1 makes them $0.39 per box
This weekends total grocery regular retail price would have been $183.05 BUT my total out-of-pocket was ONLY $61.14 for a total savings of $121.91
AND...I haven't even been to CVS yet this week, so the savings will continue to add up! I'll try to pass on the best CVS deals tomorrow night.
As always, remember to use your "coupon manners" when shopping with coupons and leave some product for others, don't buy 10 if you don't need 10 (and most of us don't). Sales happen often and coupons are everywhere.
Happy Shopping and Saving!

2 NEW POLICIES IN THE COUPON WORLD THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
1. Kroger will now limit the number of same item coupons that you can use in (1) one transaction to (5) five coupons. Example: if you have 6 coupons for the same item, you will have to do 2 transactions now.
2. Publix will only allow you to purchase 5 Atlanta Journal Constitution Papers at one time. (I like this since I only purchase 2 anyway, but maybe now there will be some left for the rest of us that don't stand at the door waiting to grab them before they get on the stand good)
STAPLES:
Take a look at the Staples sales flyer at www.staples.com if you haven't seen it already. There are some very good deals for school supplies and make sure to keep watching, they will have different $0.01 supplies each week.
For teachers: you can buy up to 25 of the penny items when you make (1) $5.00 purchase. This week the penny items are pencil top erasers, Bic Black pens and Staples Glue.
Still alot of other $1, $2 and $3 deals this week too.

Box Tops for Education
As I was looking for new and exciting information on coupons today...I actually found a really good one! This website not only gives you coupons on great products, it also gives back to your schools.
http://www.boxtops4education.com/
Box Tops for Education is probably a pretty familiar term for you if you have kids in school or have had kids in school in the last few years. They give money back directly to the school that sends them in!
Pretty smart idea...
They give you coupons, you shop and buy their products. Box Tops are included on their product, you cut them off and give them to your kids (or the neighbors kid, or nieces or grandkids) to take to school. The school turns them back in and the receive a check! Great way for the PTO to earn extra cash for your school.
You will have to register but once you sign in you will see the link on the page for coupons. There aren't very many right now but I suspect as with most websites they will ad more at the first of the month. Go ahead and sign up now so you will start getting the newsletter. There is also a section on the site where you can print a list of all items that box tops can be found on.
This is really a great deal because you are getting the coupons for saving and the schools are getting money back for our kids!

A promise kept!
Ok ladies,
I promised you all in the classes this weekend that I would be updating this blog more often...well, here goes. Thank you all for coming this weekend and I hope that each of you left with great information and an urge to go start collecting coupons and using them to save your family money.
I did shop a little bit this weekend but for me there wasn't a lot of "great" grocery deals so I stuck to a very normal list of items and for all but 5 things I was able to use coupons.
CVS had a really great deal that I shared with you all and I was able to get the 5 count Zyrtec for $5.99, use the $5.00 off coupon and then get the ECB back for $5.99. So CVS paid me $5.00 just to walk in their store and take the Zrytec (which my husband needed) off the shelf. Thank you CVS! I did have a few more things planned to buy for that trip but those items were already gone. That's ok though :) My coupons were good at Kroger for the John Freida Full Repair and I got 2 more bottles of shampoo and conditioner for $0.99 each.
Remember a few of the key tips that I gave you...First rule of "couponing" is to HAVE FUN!!
There were many websites that I gave you in your packet of information and I won't post all of them each time one is added to those sites. Go to those sites frequently and sign up for their newsletters, they will tell you when there is a new coupon or "good deal" to go for.
If you are interested in hosting a class for your friends please let me know. I will do classes anytime during the week after 6pm and on the weekends pretty much anytime. Class is $5.00 per person.
Thanks again to each one of you for attending the class! Now go out there and save some money, don't forget to let me know how you are doing!!

Seeing and saving into the future...
Ok, there was a really GREAT tip-off released today in the world of sales and coupons and I just had to share this one...
Future Sales Deal at Publix:
Kibbles n' Bits Dog Food B1G1...coming to a Publix near you in about 5 weeks. Now what's so special about that deal you ask???
Here you go:
http://shop.ebay.com/items/?_nkw=kibbles+bits+coupon&_sacat=&_ex_kw=&_mPrRngCbx=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_sop=12&_fpos=&_fspt=1&_sadis=&LH_CAds=
click on the link above and you will go to eBay **yes, there are coupons even on eBay**
MAKE SURE YOU ONLY BUY THE COUPONS WITH AN EXPIRATION (for this product) WITH AN EXPIRATION OF 04/16/2011 OR LATER. They are saying that the 03-19-2011 coupons will expire before the sale actually runs.
I was a little skeptical about "buying" coupons too...but here's what you get:
I bought 10 /$2.00 off 1 (any size) bag of Kibbles n' Bits for $2.00 + $.95 shipping = $2.95 OOP (out of pocket) These are also coming out in this Sunday's paper, but that would mean you would have to buy more than one paper and at $3.00 each...nah!
The B1G1 price for the sale at Publix should be $4.99 for the 4lb bag (that's only $2.49 per bag)
SO...if you have these $2.00 off 1 coupons that means that you can purchase each bag for only $.49 (yes thats just forty-nine cents).
Breakdown:
10 coupons for $2.00 off 1
Price per bag (before coupon) $2.49
Price per bag (after coupon) $0.49
40lbs KIBBLES N' BITS DOG FOOD FOR ONLY $4.90 plus the $2.95 you spent on the coupons.
Here's to another great deal at Publix!

First of the month = NEW COUPONS AVAILABLE
I wanted to let you all know that there are always NEW coupons at the beginning of every month from www.coupons.com make sure you check usually on the first day of the month. If you look over at the left hand column on their website there is a place where you can just search for food coupons...click that and it will sort them by food first. You can still look thru all the coupons but I like to go thru the food ones and then all the others.
Also, there are several FREE samples of things on Facebook for a variety of different businesses. Here are a few that you might like:

Another great way to get good coupons is to pick up (or subscribe) to the magazine ALL YOU you can pick this up in Wal-mart of the grocery store for around $2.49 and issue and every monthly issue is jam packed with $80-$100 worth of coupons!!!
Keep in mind that even if you don't get your Sunday Atlanta Journal...there are always some still available at Publix, Kroger (they have them by the self-checkouts now) and Piggly Wiggly (Lee's Crossing). Sometimes I get one on Sunday and then if I see that there are coupons I really want more of i go buy another paper!! This comes in handy when you get a BOGO deal.
Stay tuned...Publix weekly sales paper is out today and I will be posting the "good deals" hopefully tomorrow night.
